Was exposed to real estate at a very young age when he would accompany his mom to open homes that were listed by the family's brokerage Yes! Realty. 

He grew up renovating properties in the Stockton area that were eventually rented out to several families. The entire portfolio was impacted by the 2008 Great Recession while Michael was studying that the University of California at Irvine.

After graduating college in 2010, he began his career in tech sales where he worked for several startups that eventually went public or were acquired. At the same time, he also started his own real estate portfolio learning from the mistakes of 2008.

He has worked on several fixers and is also a licensed California real estate agent (DRE 02229242) focused specifically on purchasing distressed properties. Many of the properties are updated and held within the portfolio or flipped to buyers looking for a turnkey home. 

In 2023, Sene Investments also made significant investments in acquiring more properties in the East Bay Area through its subsidiaries.
